It’s a London thing, its back, bigger and better! The Akwaaba Group has this week indicated that all is set for the biggest outdoor event to ever take place in the United Kingdom. On Saturday 16th July 2016, The Akwaaba Group will stage this year’s edition of the Ghana Party In The Park, the biggest family outdoor event in the UK.
Commenting on the event, the Event Coordinator of The Akwaaba Group, Mr. Dennis Tawiah, said “this year’s edition of Ghana Party In The Park is scheduled to take place at the Trent Park, Cockfoster Road (Cockfoster EN4 0DZ) in London from 12noon to 8pm and its going to be exciting. The audience on the day will be treated to exciting performances from some of the best Ghanaian and UK based musicians.
According to Mr. Tawiah, The Akwaaba Group is in partnership with the Ghana High Commission UK & Ireland, to guarantee all attendees at the event will be safe and secure with the sort of security and health and safety measures implemented by the team and London borough Enfiled Council safety advisory group. “We have put in place measures to ensure that the thousands of patrons from across the UK and Europe: Germany, France, Holland and Ghana to attend the event will be safe as they experience the excitement synonymous of the annual event which has come to stay as the biggest family fun day. I encourage patrons to use public transport to the venue for ease and comfort as there are very limited parking bays in the area”, he said.
Activities to take place on the day will include Arts and Craft Exhibition, Cultural Troupe Dancing, Durbar of Chiefs, Live Band Music, Fashion Show, Face Painting, Bouncy Castles, Food, Drinks, Product Sales, Dance Competition and Aqua Bubble. On hand to add to the excitement will be performances by the sensational Mr. Eazi, Belma Cultural Dancers, Davidson Band and other top musicians from Ghana and the United Kingdom.
