Classism has implanted in many human minds that education and qualifications make one a better human than the other, with some even going the extent of regarding those without their level of qualifications as inferior.
This mental state has caused a lot of people to look down and disrespect others simply because they think they have become more human by whatever qualifications they have achieved and by that, they should earn their respect irrespective of how they treat them.
A lady though has punched holes in this school of thought. According to a statement by Kemba Johnson, one’s education and qualifications isn’t a justification to disrespect others.
Kemba says that it is an illusion if one believes their qualification qualifies them to disrespect others.
“Don’t Let Your Qualifications Make You Think You’re Qualified To Disrespect Others” she wrote
Effectively, she advises that, before formal education, degrees and qualifications, there existed human morality and the basic fact that we are all flesh and blood, equal in the sight of science and God, and that we must respect everyone.
