TotalEnergies seeks to fill the position of a Young Training & Development Co-ordinator!
Your responsibilities will be:
Training Execution, Administration, Follow-up and Reporting
- Manage all training logistics (travel, accommodation, equipment availability, training) when it comes to Young Graduates, VIE, Interns and learners (young development).Purchase order management in this regard is essential.
- Maintain comprehensive training records for all training activities for the young development and to ensure all training is recorded and registered with the training skills development specialist
- Ensure the co-ordination of travel, training, induction , payroll and accommodation for the young development takes place timeously and is in line with Group norms and standards
- Monitor and co-ordinate the induction process for all new employees and constantly improve and streamline the initiative
- Work closely with Talent developers to ensure that Young Talent is constantly highlighted for possible absorption, career aspirations and development through the organization
- Active participation at career fairs for all local universities and constant upgrading of the data base for new graduates
- Ensure that our TPA initiative together with Wits is maintained and all co-ordinated activities in this regard are well managed
- Successful closing off of the bursary programmes currently managed by HR
- Monitor rental payments for the young development and ensure payments are executed on time
- Coordinate education initiatives such as Learner Focus Week with the Department of Energy
Relationship Management:
- Establish Business relationship with stakeholders, especially from Group when it comes to VIE and YG

Candidate profile
You have:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources.
- A major in training administration and/or development as well as registration as a Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) would be an advantage. Good knowledge of the company’s business (5 years) plus good administration ability can be substituted for formal tertiary qualification.
- At least five (5) years minimum working experience.
- Previous experience in training and development in a commercial enterprise/organization would be an advantage
- Computer proficiency in the Microsoft environment. Exposure to SAP R3 / TL or Elevate would be preferable
- Key competencies include planning and administrative skills, ability to meet deadlines, problem solving skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently, proactivity, ability to pay attention to detail and customer service orientation. English is the working language
- Knowledge of relevant legislation (NSD, BBBEEE, LFC, Skills development)
- Technical: This position requires positive energy, team player, creativity and flexibility.
