Location: Lekki, Victoria Island – Lagos

Job Summary
- We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about working in retail to join theteam as HR/Admin Officers. Our client is a leading retail organization in Nigeria.
- The HR & Admin Officers’ responsibilities include processing employee data, updating company policies and assisting in the hiring process. To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR functions. Ultimately, you will make sure all HR operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts and PTO requests
- Update internal databases with new hire information
- Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies
- Gather payroll data like bank accounts and working days
- Publish and remove job ads
- Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
- Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by department
- Develop training and onboarding material
- Respond to employees’ questions about benefits (for example, the number of vacation days they’re eligible for)
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including scheduling meetings and appointments, organizing files, and handling correspondence.
- Act as the point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents for the executives as required.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for executives and handle related logistics.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Organize and maintain the office filing system, including electronic and hard copy documents.
- Process and track invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents as required.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment and order new supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- B.Sc / HND
- 3+ years in a similar position
- Must live within Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Central Lagos etc
- Great at people management
- Good administrator
- Good in record keeping and file management
- Below 40 years
- Analytical. Good in Microsoft & other presentation packages
- Experience in retail business management will be a great advantage
- Basic knowledge of labor legislation
- Experience using spreadsheets
- Organizational skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
