We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Motion Graphics Designer

Job Description

  • Maintain and troubleshoot video equipment and assist in live event and studio production, including setting a stage, lighting a set, and shooting footage with video or still camera.
  • Conceptualize and develop visual content, including graphics, animation, and video footage for a variety of media platforms.
  • Bring static images to life, through the motion graphics they create, using 2D and 3D animation.
  • Evaluate videos from various sources, splice film footage, shoot, and combine with other scenes to create a cohesive story.
  • Animation of design assets and creating animation mockups of UI/Web designs.
  • Research audio, video, colors, animation, etc., and collaborate with the team for the creation of designs.
  • Manage the creative process end-to-end, from conceptualization to storyboard and editing, for the web, video, mobile, etc.
  • Combine visual footage with audio sound effects, dialogue, and a soundtrack to create emotion in visual stories.
  • Edit video footage and add effects and elements to enhance motion graphics and evaluate edited footage to ensure it matches the script story and meets the requirements.
  • Use computer editing software programs, video switching devices, digital video effects programs, and other tools to assemble film components.
  • Create sound effects by recording specific audio clips or choosing audio effects to include in the final film.
  • Discuss the project timeline, narrative structure, story goals, and more with the creative team as the project is edited.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
  • Complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.
  • Work in close collaboration with stakeholders, the head of department, the creative designer, product marketing specialist, and communication specialist, throughout all phases of project development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Film & Video Production, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in a tech/fintech company. A background in art, and/or graphic design and strong sketch and/or creative/graphic design skill sets will be a plus.
  • History of telling compelling stories through unique creative assets and visual interactions.
  • Extensive experience in the use of Adobe After Effects or related software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work as an individual and part of a team.
  • Working knowledge and proven ability to use a variety of software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, 2D/3D animation, and/or related tools)
  • Ability to partner with other creative team members and key stakeholders to create content used across a variety of platforms (web, mobile, video, etc.)
  • A great communicator with strong project management skills, who can easily receive and interpret feedback and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of various social media platforms and how to use video to engage with different audiences.
