Administrative Officer at Rand Water
Job Advert Summary
Rand water is looking for a candidate who will be reporting to the Transport Manager. The candidate will be managing the day-to-day activities of the Administration Section of Transport in full compliance with sound financial practices, efficient procurement process, EMS Tripsheet application and access.
Minimum Requirements
• Standard 10 or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience in a Fleet environment at a supervisory position.
• 2 years’ experience with supervision of staff
• Ability to communicate at all levels – verbal (face to face), verbal (telephonic) and written (electronic and hand written).
• Operational computer literacy in Ms Office is essential, with the emphasis on Ms Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
• Track record of highly efficient office administration practices
• Working knowledge of the Maximo and SAP system will be an advantage.
• Advanced MS Excel, Access and Word
Primary Duties
• Ensure that all Administrative duties are carried out according to Transport Process relating to employees’ salary.
• Ensure completion of time sheets.
• Ensure staff engage in the work expected and relieve each other as and when required.
• Ensure a complete filing system is maintained by all staff for their respective work.
• Ensure that all data capturing is done by all staff for their respective work.
• Liaise with Internal customers
• Petty Cash according to Rand Waters Policy.
• Variance Reporting Download, investigate and explain or resolve monthly.
• Compile Supplementary Budget purchases issue network numbers and process purchase requisition
