Hundreds of Okada Owners invade Class FM to thank Mahama for promising to legalize Okada Business (Watch)
Well over 200 Okada riders have invaded the premises of Class FM earlier this morning to express their gratitude to his excellency the former president of Ghana and the flagbearer of the opposition NDC, John Mahama for his promise to legalize the operation of Okada business in Ghana.
John Mahama was hosted on Class FM today the 14th of September, 2020 to throw more lights on the NDC’s newly launched Manifesto for the 2020 election.
But just a few hours into the interview, Okada riders in the area thronged the radio station waiting for the leader of the NDC.
Expectedly, he came out amidst cheers from the elated riders who were patiently waiting for him.
Speaking to the media on behalf of the crowd, the leader of the riders noted that it has always been a dream for Ghanaian leaders to make their operation legal so they can have peace of mind to work and make a living without looking behind their shoulders.
He also appealed to the public to stop stereotyping them as armed robbers but rather another working class of the Ghanaian citizens trying to survive.
John Mahama also took his turn to acknowledge the presence of the riders and reiterated his interest in making sure his government legalizes their business if elected into in December 2020.
