President Akufo-Addo Exposed After Swearing In An NPP Constituency Chairman As Supreme Court Judge
President Akufo-Addo, yesterday Wednesday swore into office, some justices of the High Court, on the advice of the judicial council, being eminently fit and qualified for the position of Justice of the High Court, with the impartiality of mind and independence of spirit to hold this high office, a statement on the President’s Facebook page said.
However, even though only 8 justices were listed on the President’s official Facebook page as having been sworn in, and whose names were duly listed by the President, Yayra Koku is alleging that one of the Justices who were sworn in include a current NPP chairman for Dormaa East.
In a Facebook post, Yayra Koku mentioned Lawyer Solomon Oppong Twumasi as one of the persons to have been promoted to the office of a Justice of the High Court.
According to him, Mr Oppong Twumasi is the incumbent Chairman for the NPP in Dormaa East, and is a two times failed parliamentary aspirant for the Area.
